For Use In Long Term Care Facilities, Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Elder Care
for assisting in new patient assessment and accessing vulnerable elders.
ATTENTION: CMS MSD 3.0 Coordinator...
you, more than anyone, recognize the continuous need for clear communication
with long-term care residents. At Sonic Technology, we agree, and have been
proud to manufacture the SuperEar® SE4000 for this purpose for over ten years.
The SuperEar® SE4000 has been tested and evaluated by hospitals, skilled nursing
and long-term care facilities around the country and found to offer the clearest
sound gain and the easiest operation for the most reasonable price of any
Assistive Listening Device on the market.
The SuperEar® SE4000 increases ambient sound gain by up to 50+ Decibels and
delivers clear, crisp sound through comfortable stereo headphones. A simple
on/off/volume control wheel is easy for less dexterous hands to operate. And
it’s easy to clean.
Many CMS Trainers and facility nurses are already using the SuperEar® as the
ideal tool for Long-Term Care Resident Assessment as required by MDS 3.0.
CMS MDS 3.0 Training Coordinators The Video on Interviewing Vulnerable Elders
(VIVE) demonstrates best-practice approaches for implementing the new MDS
interviews for cognition, mood, preferences and pain. Specific video sections
explain why interviews have been added; review techniques to improve
communication with older, frail populations; and demonstrate each interview
being conducted.
See the SuperEar demonstrated as a tool to help improve communication with
