The SleuthGear GPS611 is the hardwired GPS asset tracking version of our SV-PT-X5 live tracker. Because this rugged GPS unit is hard wired to the vehicle's battery, it will eliminate any worries about battery life. The GPS611 GPS tracker unit features a rugged, water-resistant housing and a solid-state circuit, making it the ideal system for fleet tracking, employee tracking in company vehicles and especially for tracking a child/teens movements when driving their parents vehicle. The gps unit can be powered by the vehicles battery indefinitely.  Receive 10 second updates any time the vehicle moves days, weeks, months, FOREVER after installation.

This Real Time GPS tracking device is not a ping-based product. in other words you do not have to wait for the unit to receive and send a signal back to track it. This is a a true GSM/GPRS+GPS quad band system that is fully functional in the USA, Canada, Europe And Australia(operational location must be specified at activation). Our SleuthGear vehicle tracking device updates its location every 1, 5, or 10 seconds while you watch it in real-time using the web-based application. You could literally remain on the website 24 hours a day 7 days a week and watch the vehicle icon move on the screen.  It is very easy for the end user to use because there is no software to install and is very user friendly. It includes features like virtual fence alert zones and speed alerts sent via SMS text message or email, individual vehicle or enhanced vehicle reports, start/stop vehicle reports and more.
