Using Automatic voice activated sleep mode; when the recorder is not in use for more than 3 minutes it sleeps conserving battery life for when it is needed the recorder will turn back on and record when a call comes in, the sensitivity to sound/voice can also be adjusted. Each time the phone rings it will record automatically and then return to the sleep mode and wait for the next call. Using the phone recorder feature you can set it and forget it it will go to the standby sleep mode and wait for the next phone call voice activation to turn on and begin recording again. With 66 or 133 hours of recording time this may be the only recorder you will ever need. It works on the phone and as a voice recorder. All the available accessories are included.
